Tiny Concertina Button Book

A few weeks ago I spotted the ‘cutest’ thing featured on Cuteable made by Illustrator and Designer, Stephanie Davidson. I really wanted to try and make something similar to give to my sister as part of her birthday pressie box.

I was quite pleased with the result even though I’m no artist and the cutting is a bit rough around the edges.

I just loved the idea of drawing or writing your very own tiny story all folded up into a secret little parcel. So here’s my sisters’ mini folding button book… (she liked it by the way!)

…and now treat yourself and have a peek at some of Stephanie’s beautiful work – I thought this thread book was fabulous too.

Great post and a wonderful little book – just the sort of thing I would treasure – so I’m sure your sister liked it! Off to follow your link to see some of the other desighner’s work.

Hah – it looks great! I’ve wanted to make one ever since I spotted it for Cuteable. I have enough buttons anyway!

This is so cute! Think I may have to have a go at making one as part of my challenge 52. You have a lot of patience doing all those tiny drawings.
