Baaaa… Amigurumi Crochet Sheep

A craft fair customer recently asked if I could make a cute sheep or lamb as her Mum collects them and she likes to get her a different one each time she goes abroad to visit.  I remembered I had some bobbly cream yarn I bought a couple of years ago and thought it would be perfect to try and capture that curly lamb skin look. I hope she likes them. I’ve got the same yarn in pink, yellow and blue as well so I think I’ll make a few more to put in my shop soon.

I’m so glad we took the pics yesterday when the sun was shining briefly – who knows when we’ll see that again!

Car Boot Bargains

I had a little trip off to a car boot sale this morning and managed to get a few more additions to my yarn and thread collection for the princely sum of £3.50

Amongst the haul was a lovely ball of sea green mohair, a hank of something purple and rope-like, a muddle of silky ribbon – there were even a few wooden bobbins and a darning mushroom!

Knit Club – Folksy Friday

I had a really happy accident a couple of weeks ago. I was meeting up with a friend in the pub just up the road from my house, which I rarely go into, and sitting around a table were a group of women knitting, sewing, crafting, drinking & chatting!  I went over to investigate and found out that they meet up every 2 weeks, so I’m now a member and am looking forward to my 2nd Knit Club next week!

So my Folksy Friday this week is all things knitting…
