The Sculpture Park

We visited a fabulous place today. It’s hidden away and quite difficult to find but well worth the effort when you eventually get there!

It’s described as “The most atmospheric Sculpture Park in Britain. More than 150 renowned sculptors exhibiting over 200 sculptures for sale within 10 acres of arboretum & wildlife inhabited water gardens.”

The Sculpture Park, Jumps Road, Churt, Farnham, Surrey – for more details on venue & sculptors visit: www.thesculpturepark.com

Here are some of the pics I took to give you an idea, there’s just so much to see. There are no railings, ropes or officials – you can wander and touch and enjoy both the sculpture and surroundings. Many of the pieces are available for sale and some of them are currently being exhibited at the Chelsea Flower Show.

Open every day from 10am-5pm

Adults £6 – Snr Citizens & Kids 5-15 – £3

Sculpture is my absolute favourite art form. I couldnt even pick out a favourite from your photo’s.

Pity its so far away from me (thats usually the case for anything as I’m in Northumberland)

Have you been to the one in Wakefield, just outside Leeds? it too is beautiful, lots of Henry Moore (he paid for my fine art department at university, so I have an extra soft spot for him)
