The images below are a selection from the various craft fairs I’ve had stalls at over the past few years. They’re mostly a record for me to see how my stock and layout changes over time and for anyone else wanting to get a few ideas for stall layouts … or maybe what ‘not’ to do! Any hints or tips you might have to pass on would be appreciated too. Thank you
I’m always on the lookout for inexpensive ways of making things look better or more interesting and anything that will help me set up quickly. Here are a few of my current favourites:
Place Card crocodile clips for holding price tags. I have about a dozen and a pack of cards with names and prices that I can place near the relevant items.
A set of old plywood drawers that a friend gave to me. I painted them cream and use the drawers to transport stock in and then for display purposes I take the drawers out and use the wooden shell for ‘Door Mice’, stack the individual drawers (similar to a house of cards) and display creatures in and on them. It looks quite effective and brings a bit of height to the stall too.
Tiered cake stands – really useful for bringing a bit of height to the layout whilst letting me display more stock than if it was all on one level.
